Job Description: As a Visual Merchandiser at our Gateshead location, you will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning displays that captivate our customers and drive sales. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with store management to develop and implement creative merchandising strategies that showcase our products and reflect current fashion trends.
• Using your artistic flair and keen eye for detail to design and set up visually appealing displays that highlight key products and promotions.
• Ensuring that merchandise is presented in a visually appealing and organized manner, adhering to Primark’s merchandising standards and guidelines.
• Regularly refreshing displays and adjusting layouts to optimize product visibility and maintain a fresh and inviting store environment.
• Monitoring sales performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the overall shopping experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in visual merchandising within the retail or fashion industry is preferred.
• A passion for fashion and design, with a strong understanding of current trends and the ability to translate them into compelling visual displays.
• Excellent creativity and artistic skills, with the ability to think innovatively and create impactful displays that resonate with our target audience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate merchandising concepts to store staff.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the role.
