Job Description: As a Customer Assistant at Tesco Cheltenham, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our store. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with their shopping needs, providing friendly and helpful service at all times.
• Operating cash registers accurately and efficiently, processing transactions and payments.
• Replenishing stock on shelves and ensuring products are well-presented and easily accessible.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store, including cleaning spills and organizing displays.
• Supporting colleagues with tasks such as stock replenishment and assisting with deliveries as needed.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
