• Anchor live newscasts, breaking news coverage, and special events, maintaining the highest standards of journalistic integrity and excellence.
• Conduct interviews with newsmakers, experts, and analysts, fostering informative and thought-provoking discussions on current events and trending topics.
• Collaborate with producers, writers, and editors to develop and shape news stories, ensuring accuracy, balance, and relevance.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in domestic and international news, politics, business, and culture, providing context and analysis to viewers.
• Engage with viewers and respond to audience feedback and inquiries, building rapport and trust with CNN’s audience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a news anchor or correspondent in a major news market or network.
• Proven ability to deliver live news presentations with poise, confidence, and clarity under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations.
• Strong interviewing skills and the ability to conduct insightful and compelling interviews with a wide range of guests.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with viewers of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
• Deep knowledge of current events, politics, and global affairs, with a demonstrated passion for journalism and storytelling.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
